Daniel Morad has been confirmed as the third driver at Montaplast by Land Motorsport for next month’s Motul Petit Le Mans.
As revealed by Sportscar365 on Wednesday, the Canadian will join Christopher Mies and Sheldon van der Linde in the team’s Audi R8 LMS GT3.
The German operation confirmed the signing on Saturday morning.
“We clicked with Daniel right from day one,” commented team principal Christian Land. “He’s a really nice guy, who fits our team perfectly.
“In past races we have competed against one another, but now it’s time to join forces and defend our Petit Le Mans title.”
Morad, 28, competed in several Pirelli World Challenge rounds with CRP Racing earlier this season.
“I am delighted to be a part of the crew,” he said. “Land Motorsport is an excellent team, something they demonstrate in every race they compete in.
“Their sights are set on victory, and that chimes perfectly with my own ambitions.”
Petit Le Mans, which serves as the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship finale, will take place at Road Atlanta on Oct. 13.
