The Lexus RC F GT3 has been given a weight break ahead of next weekend’s Michelin GT Challenge at Virginia International Raceway.

Confirmed in the latest round of Balance of Performance adjustments by IMSA, the GT Daytona class contender will be permitted to run at a minimum weight of 1375 kg, marking a 10 kg weight decrease.

It is the only BoP change made to either the GT Le Mans and GTD classes for the GT-only round on Oct. 9.

The pair of Vasser Sullivan Lexus entries currently sit sixth and seventh in the GTD points standings heading into the final two races of the season.
