T3 Motorsport’s lineup for January’s Rolex 24 at Daytona has been confirmed with Lamborghini GT3 junior driver Mateo Llarena and factory ace Franck Perera among the pilots in the German squad’s Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo.

Confirmed on Friday, the 17-year-old Llarena (pictured above), a pole-winner in IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship competition, will be joined by Perera, Misha Goikhberg and Maximilian Paul in the GTD class entry.

It will mark Llarena’s second consecutive Rolex 24 appearance after taking part in the race in 2021 at the wheel of Performance Tech Motorsports’ Ligier JS P320 Nissan in LMP3.

He will become the only driver from Guatemala to compete in two consecutive Rolex 24 events.

“It’s a great experience to race for the second year in a row at the 24 Hours of Daytona and now with Lamborghini,” Llarena said. “Also, with a brand that gave me all the necessary support this season in the Italian GT Championship.”

The Dresden-based operation, which competes in DTM and ADAC GT Masters, announced its participation in the WeatherTech Championship season-opener earlier this month.
