A.J. Allmendinger and Justin Wilson will return to Michael Shank Racing for the Rolex 24 at Daytona, it was announced Saturday by the Ohio-based team.

The duo join full-season drivers Ozz Negri and John Pew in the Ford EcoBoost-powered Riley DP for the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship season-opener, rekindling the same lineup that won the 2012 race.

“There are so many variables for the teams to learn heading into this new championship, so having a line up like this lets us focus as a team on what we need to learn with the new car and the new rules,” team owner Mike Shank said.

Additionally, the 2014 season will see the team name become Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian, along with debuting the new 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo powerplant from the blue oval.

“Having a year-long program with Curb I think also shows there is real commercial interest in this new IMSA TUDOR Championship and I’m thrilled that they will be with us all year long,” Shank added.

“With good partners supporting us and such a strong line up in the car, I’m just really excited about what this group is capable of.”
