Ozz Negri continued to lead the way, with the Michael Shank Racing Ligier JS P2 Honda topping the time sheets in the third practice session ahead of qualifying for tomorrow’s Mobil 1 Sportscar Grand Prix.

The Brazilian continued to find more speed out of the Ligier-Honda, having reeled off a best lap of 1:09.168 in Saturday morning’s 60-minute session.

Negri’s time was 0.477 seconds quicker than the No. 31 Action Express Racing Corvette DP of Dane Cameron, who edged out teammate Christian Fittipaldi for second and third, respectively.

Renger van der Zande led Prototype Challenge, thanks to the Dutchman’s 1:10.831 lap time in the Starworks Motorsport Oreca FLM09.

It was 0.255 seconds quicker than Colin Braun, whose CORE autosport entry spent time in the garage.

The No. 52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports car of Mike Guasch was also pulled behind the wall after making contact with the No. 31 Action Express Corvette DP midway through the session.

GT Le Mans was again paced by Porsche North America’s Nick Tandy, who recorded a 1:14.429 in his No. 911 Porsche 911 RSR.

The session did not feature any red flags.

Qualifying is on tap for 4:40 p.m. ET.
