After teammate Olivier Pla topped the time charts in opening practice, it was Ozz Negri that was quickest in second practice for Saturday’s Petit Le Mans.
Negri’s 1:13.923 lap time in the No. 60 Ligier JS P2 Honda was 0.219 seconds quicker than the No. 70 Mazda Prototype of Joel Miller in second. Teammate Tristan Nunez was third quickest.
BAR1 Motorsports led the way in Prototype Challenge, thanks to Johnny Mowlem’s 1:16.707 lap time in the No. 20 Oreca FLM09.
GT Le Mans saw the No. 68 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 488 GTE of Daniel Serra quickest, while Joreg Bergmeister paced GT Daytona in the No. 73 Park Place Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R.
The 60-minute session was red-flagged about 20 minutes in for the No. 88 Starworks PC car of Mark Kvamme, who spun and beached his car in the gravel.
