Audi driver Nico Mueller is set to make his IMSA debut as the fourth confirmed member of High Class Racing’s LMP2 lineup for next month’s Rolex 24 at Daytona.

Mueller will share the High Class-run Oreca 07 Gibson with Anders Fjordbach, Dennis Andersen and Fabio Scherer, all of whom have already been announced at the team.

The Swiss racer, who competed in the DTM and Formula E this year, is already confirmed to run a full season of LMP2 in the 2022 FIA World Endurance Championship with the newly-formed Vector Sport outfit.

Mueller’s prototype appearances will form part of his preparations for an Audi LMDh drive in 2023.

Fjordbach and Andersen are contesting the full IMSA LMP2 season for High Class, which is moving across from the WEC Pro-Am category.

They will be joined at all Michelin Endurance Cup rounds by former United Autosports driver Scherer.
