The No. 77 AO Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R of Laurin Heinrich has lost his GTD Pro class pole position for Sunday’s Battle on the Bricks following a technical infraction found in post-qualifying scrutineering.

Heinrich’s championship-leading Porsche was found to have not met the minimum ground clearance, resulting in the entry being moved to the rear of the GT starting field.

It has given the No. 4 Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R of Nicky Catsburg the pole for tomorrow’s six-hour IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup race.

The No. 12 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 of Parker Thompson, which qualified third in GTD, will also start from the back of the combined field due to the same infraction.
