The No. 48 Paul Miller Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo has lost its third place class finish in Saturday’s Michelin GT Challenge at Virginia International Raceway due to a technical infraction.
The Madison Snow and Bryan Sellers-driven GT Daytona entry has been moved to the rear of the field due to a fuel capacity issue found in post-race technical inspection.
It has promoted the No. 74 Riley Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo of Lawson Aschenbach and Gar Robinson to third in the race.
Snow had pitted the Lamborghini with 1 hour and 2 minutes to go, as one of the GTD cars to have stretched its fuel the longest in the GT-only race.
The team made its first IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship start since claiming class victory in January’s season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona.
