Paul Miller Racing has been docked points, fined and sent to the rear of the grid for tomorrow’s Continental Tire Road Race Showcase, following a technical infringement found in post-qualifying tech inspection at Road America.
The No. 48 Paul Miller Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 was found not to have been in technical compliance and with unhomologated parts, which has resulted in a 15-point penalty for both drivers and team and a $7,500 fine.
Additionally, the car’s ECU has been confiscated by IMSA.
Madison Snow had initially qualified the car sixth in class but will now be forced to start from the back of the GTD grid tomorrow.
IMSA has not detailed the exact technical infraction that was broken by the team.
