Performance Tech Motorsports has confirmed its driver lineup for the Rolex 24 at Daytona, which will see the Florida-based squad take on the LMP3 ranks with its Ligier JS P320 Nissan.

Team veteran Cameron Shields will be joined at the wheel by Christopher Allen, John DeAngelis and Connor Bloum.

“We are extremely excited about our Rolex 24 lineup,” said team principal Brent O’Neill.

“We have proven ourselves to be podium contenders, so we expect to bring home some hardware from Daytona.

“This is the most prestigious race of the season, and our great group of drivers is more than capable of racing around the clock and putting our Performance Tech Motorsports No. 38 Ligier JS P320 on the top step.”

The No. 38 Ligier will be one of nine entries in the LMP3 class.

“Throughout the 2022 season, the team and I shared a lot of success, with multiple podium finishes in the Endurance Cup, and we will be aiming to build on that momentum for this upcoming season,” said Shields.

“After working with Connor, John and Chris at an earlier test, I’m very confident that we have a strong lineup to contest for a Rolex at Daytona.”

Bloum added: “After two years away from IMSA, I’m really looking forward to getting the season started at Daytons.

“To be making my comeback with Cameron, Chris and John with such an accomplished team like Performance Tech Motorsports in the LMP3 class is an incredible opportunity.”
