The Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring is underway, with the No. 60 Michael Shank Racing Ligier JS P2 Honda of Olivier Pla having led from the pole.

Pla held a 5-second lead over the No. 31 Action Express Racing Corvette DP of Dane Cameron, prior to the race’s first full-course caution for the No. 11 Change Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3, which stopped on track.

Cameron got around Pipo Derani’s No. 2 Tequila Patron ESM Ligier Honda at the start, with Derani slipping to fourth following the first round of pit stops.

The No. 5 Action Express Corvette DP of Christian Fittipaldi runs in third.

JDC-Miller Motorsports’ Misha Goikhberg leads Prototype Challenge, following a pit stop for the then-leading PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports Oreca FLM09 of Tom Kimber-Smith, who had led from the start.

Corvette Racing runs 1-2 in GT Le Mans, with Tommy Milner and Antonio Garcia getting around the pair of BMW M6 GTLM’s, which had led prior to the first round of stops at the 45-minute mark.

Porsche runs 1-2-3 in GT Daytona, with Patrick Lindsey out front in the No. 73 Park Place Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R.

Trouble struck the No. 33 Riley Motorsports Dodge Viper GT3-R when Jeroen Bleekemolen suffered driveshaft failure while in the lead and had to limp back to the pits for repairs.

The race has remained dry but rain, including heavy thunderstorms, are set to arrive within the next two hours.
