Helio Castroneves leads Rolex 24 with rain affecting race six hours in…

Helio Castroneves currently leads for Team Penske as rain has arrived in torrents at Daytona.

The No. 7 Acura Team Penske Acura ARX-05 has proven to be the closest competitor to the Cadillac DPi-V.R teams in the early going but the rain has shaken up the running order.

Christian Fittipaldi runs second in the No. 5 Action Express Racing Cadillac with Lando Norris sitting third for United Autosports.

In GT Le Mans, Marcel Fassler holds the top spot in the No. 4 Chevrolet Corvette C7.R, while the No. 66 and 67 Ford GT machines that have dominated the early stages are running second and third.

Luca Stolz in the No. 33 Riley Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 holds a 35-second lead over Franck Perera in the Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini Huracan GT3 in the GT Daytona class.

Over five hours into the race, all 50 entries are still running after the No. 58 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R finally made its race debut after losing massive time in a pre-green shunt.
