Risi Competizione Lineup Set for Rolex 24, Season

While having been absent from the Roar Before the Rolex 24, Risi Competizione has reaffirmed its commitment to the Rolex 24 and TUDOR United SportsCar Championship by finalizing its driver lineup for the season-opener and season.

Matteo Malucelli will continue with the Houston-based squad for a second consecutive year and will be joined by Ferrari factory driver Giancarlo Fisichella, who makes the move from the FIA World Endurance Championship.

Malucelli and Fisichella will be joined by Gianmaria Bruni and Olivier Beretta for next weekend’s Rolex 24.

The Daytona lineup reunites Ferrari factory drivers Bruni and Fisichella, who spent the majority of the FIA WEC season together in the No. 51 AF Corse entry, before being split up for the final, championship-deciding round, which went in the favor of Bruni.

In addition to its planned TUDOR Championship program, Risi has also received an auto-invite, courtesy of IMSA, for Le Mans. The team will also be supporting Krohn Racing’s efforts both Stateside and at Le Mans, entry pending.
