James Calado, Alessandro Pier Guidi and Daniel Serra have been confirmed as drivers for Risi Competizione’s entry in next weekend’s Motul Petit Le Mans.

As revealed by Sportscar365 earlier this year, the Houston-based team will enter its Ferrari 488 GTE in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season finale.

It will mark the team’s first WeatherTech Championship start since this year’s Rolex 24 at Daytona.

“Petit Le Mans has been a special race to me and the team since it first started at Road Atlanta 22 years ago,” said team principal Giuseppe Risi.

“Having won that inaugural race in 1998 and three additional victories, I’m quite fond of this race and this venue.”

Risi opened the year with a runner-up result in the GT Le Mans class in the Rolex 24 with Calado, Pier Guidi, Davide Rigon and Miguel Molina. Risi Competizione also competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

A total of nine GTLM cars are expected for the ten-hour enduro, with the full entry list set to be released on Wednesday.
