Scuderia Corsa has taken delivery of its new Ferrari 488 GT3, ahead of the car’s expected worldwide debut in next month’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.

Members from the Giacomo Mattioli-led squad have been at Michelotto in Italy completing the build of the car, which features only minor changes from the recently launched 488 GTE car.

Alessandro Pier Guidi, one of the team’s GTLM drivers, handled driving duties of the new 488 GT3 in a shakedown at Fiorano on Monday, with the car expected to be at IMSA’s official Sebring test next week with its full slate of GTD drivers.

The team earned a 7th place class finish in last month’s season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona with its previous-generation Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 with drivers Christina Nielsen, Alessandro Balzan, Jeff Segal and Robert Renauer.

Nielsen and Balzan have been confirmed as full-season drivers for the year, with Segal expected to complete the lineup for the second round of the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup.
