Vasser Sullivan will field two GTD class entries at the Chevrolet Sports Car Classic in Detroit, with a second Lexus RC F GT3 returning for the second race in a row.

Jack Hawksworth is currently the only driver confirmed in the No. 17 Lexus, with the Briton’s co-driver yet to be determined per n the 16-car entry list issued on Wednesday.

Hawksworth usually partners Ben Barnicoat aboard the Vasser Sullivan squad’s GTD Pro entry, but the all-professional category does not feature in the Belle Isle street race.

The two Lexus entries form part of a 10-car GTD field for the event.

NTE Sport’s Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo, which withdrew from the Lexus Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio, remains absent.

As previously reported by Sportscar365, Inception Racing is not entered either, with the squad focusing on a double-duty weekend in both the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup at Circuit Paul Ricard as well as the 24 Hours of Le Mans Test Day.

No changes have been made to the six-car DPi entry, with two cars from Acura and four Cadillacs set to contest the final race at Belle Isle before the Detroit event moves downtown next year.
