Both the pole-sitting No. 60 Michael Shank Racing Ligier JS P2 Honda and race-contending No. 55 Mazda Prototype have hit trouble in the third hour of the Petit Le Mans.

An unidentified issue with the left-rear of Ligier Honda resulted in a slow first stop. Olivier Pla then briefly slowed on track, which lost further ground.

Moments later, the No. 55 Mazda stopped on track with Tristan Nunez at the wheel with a misfire. It remains in the pits undergoing an ECU change.

The No. 90 Visit Florida Racing Corvette DP, meanwhile, has also faded with electrical issues.

Up front, the No. 31 Action Express Racing Corvette DP of Eric Curran leads, ahead of teammate Joao Barbosa in the No. 5 entry.

PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports (PC), Risi Competizione (GTLM) and Magnus Racing (GTD) lead their respective classes.

The race has seen only one full-course caution, when Tomy Drissi spun and beached his No. 20 BAR1 Motorsports Oreca FLM09 into the gravel with 80 minutes complete.
