One of Starworks Motorsport’s two transporters was stolen from the team’s Pompano Beach, Florida headquarters overnight, the team reported on Friday.
Team principal Peter Baron posted a tweet Friday morning noting it had been taken, and if anyone in the Fort Lauderdale area knew of anything to contact officials.
Baron confirmed to Sportscar365 that no cars were in the rig, but a small amount of equipment and radios were.
“It could have been a lot worse,” Baron told Sportscar365.

Anyone with information regarding the transporter’s whereabouts is advised to let the team and authorities know.
The team has a two-car effort in Prototype Challenge for the full season, and is coming off a challenging Rolex 24 at Daytona.
Both cars encountered several issues and the team’s No. 8 car, then driven by Chris Cumming, was hit from behind by the DeltaWing in a fairly significant accident.
