The No. 11 TDS Racing Oreca 07 Gibson of Steven Thomas has been stripped of his LMP2 pole position following post-qualifying technical inspection for Saturday’s Motul Petit Le Mans.

The French entry was found to have “bodywork mass beyond a permitted homologated limit” according to a statement by IMSA.

It has promoted the No. 43 Inter Europol Competition Oreca of Jeremy Clarke to the class pole for tomorrow’s ten-hour enduro at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.

The No. 22 United Autosports Oreca of Daniel Goldburg will now start alongside Clarke on the front row, with the sister No. 2 United entry of Nick Boulle third in class.
