Aaron Telitz will rejoin AIM Vasser Sullivan for next weekend’s Rolex 24 at Daytona, it has been confirmed.

The 28-year-old Wisconsin native, who drove in all four of the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup races for the team last year, will again team up with Townsend Bell and Frankie Montecalvo in the No. 12 Lexus RC F GT3, alongside Shane van Gisbergen.

Telitz is expected to be again confirmed for all of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship long-distance races this year.

“Coming from open wheel racing to sports cars last year I didn’t know what to expect,” said Telitz. “However, I had a great time working with all my teammates and to finish second in our first Rolex 24 was awesome.

“I’m honored that Jimmy Vasser, Sulli and Andrew Bordin made it possible for me to come back for a second time. I think we have a great driver line up with Townsend, Frankie and Shane and I am looking forward to, hopefully, having another good race in this year’s Rolex 24.”

Vasser added: “[Aaron] was one of the guys that helped us finish second in our Rolex 24 debut and hopefully we can take to the next level this year.”

The team’s sister No. 14 Lexus will be driven by full-season drivers Jack Hawksworth and Parker Chase, along with Michael de Quesada and two-time and defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch.
