BMW factory driver Martin Tomczyk will join Turner Motorsport for next weekend’s Rolex 24 at Daytona, completing the team’s lineup in its newly re-liveried BMW M6 GT3.

Tomczyk, who drove for BMW Team RLL in the GT Le Mans class last year, will join fellow works driver Jens Klingmann and Prototype Challenge stalwarts Mark Kvamme and Don Yount for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season-opener.

The team recently announced a new sponsorship deal with Liqui Moly.

With Tomczyk set to compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship with BMW Team MTEK, it’s unlikely the German ex-DTM ace will have additional outings with the team beyond Daytona.

Klingmann is expected to again complete the balance of the championship, although the identity of his co-driver remains unclear.
