Defending race winners Wayne Taylor Racing topped final IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship practice Friday afternoon at Long Beach where Ricky Taylor paced the field in the No. 10 Corvette DP with a top lap time of 1:15.474.
Colin Braun was the fastest PC entry, clocking in at 1:16.944 in the No. 54 CORE Autosport Oreca FLM09 after also topping this morning’s opening practice session.
In GTLM, Earl Bamber turned the fastest lap time of 1:17.646 in the No. 912 Porsche 911 RSR.
Qualifying for Saturday’s IMSA Weather Tech Sportscar Championship 100-minute sprint follows immediately on the schedule with all three classes running in groups from 5:35 – 6:30 p.m. PDT.
