Richard Antinucci has delivered a clean sweep Friday in Valencia, claiming victory in the season-ending Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo North America round, ahead of this weekend’s World Final.

The former open-wheel ace crossed the line 21.744 seconds ahead of the No. 101 Prestige Performance Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo of Shinya Michimi, following another dominant run for the No. 116 Change Racing entry.

Antinucci never relinquished the lead, except when making his mandatory pit stop with 23 minutes remaining in the 50-minute race, which saw the No. 107 Dream Racing entry of Cedric Sbirrazzuoli credited with one lap led.

Sbirrazzuoli was the only driver able to challenge Antinucci early on, keeping the Change entry at bay, but a spin into the gravel by co-driver Larry DeGeorge derailed a potential podium finish.

Pro class champion Michimi rebounded for a runner-up finish, after dropping to 15th following contact between he and Sbirrazzuoli at the start.

The No. 212 Aran Racing Lamborghini of Toshiyuki Ochiai and Afiq Yazid finished third overall and race winners in the Asian series, which ran combined with the North American contingent on Friday.

Brandon Gdovic held off a hard-charging Patrick Kujala for the Pro-Am win, finishing fourth overall, although it wasn’t enough to claim the class title.

That honor went to Prestige’s Trent Hindman and Craig Duerson, with a third place result in class.

Duerson started from the pit lane, in a conservative approach, as he and Hindman needed to only finish the race to be crowned class champions.

Am class honors went to the No. 109 US Racetronics entry of Damon Ockey, after an opening-lap spin by the Round 11-winning No. 129 Change Lamborghini of Luis Rodriguez Jr., who lost two laps.

Dream Racing’s Shawn Lawless, meanwhile, claimed the Lamborghini class Cup win, having made a late-race move on Ross Chouest for the lead and eventual victory.

While the Super Trofeo season has come to a close, North America, Asia and Europe competitors take part in the World Final, which gets underway with qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday.

RESULTS: Round 12 (North America/Asia)
