***The 2016 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo North America schedule is due out in the coming days, and is expected to feature a nearly identical calendar to 2015.

***Qualifying results for Rounds 9 and 10 are linked here. Richard Antinucci and Edoardo Piscopo will have the pole for both races in the No. 50 O’Gara Motorsport Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2.

***Edoardo Liberati, a 22-year-old Rome-based driver, makes his Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo North America debut this weekend in the No. 22 STR Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2, co-driving with Fernando Barbachano in the Huracán Pro-Am class.

***Liberati becomes the first driver to take part in all three Lamborghini continental single-make championships, North America, Europe and Asia, in the same season. More information is available here, via Endurance-Info.

***Although he was listed to return on the entry list, John DiFiore is again not competing in this weekend’s pair of Lamborghini ST races at Prestige Performance. As at COTA, Enrique Bernoldi will be in the No. 1 Huracán with Kevin Conway in the No. 10 car in DiFiore’s absence.

***IMSA veteran Brett Sandberg, a Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge regular this season, makes his first Lamborghini ST start of the year alongside Angel Benitez Jr. in the No. 26 Avid Motorsports Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2, now running in the Pro class.

***Benitez, who has also raced in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA this year, has expressed an interest to continue in the Lamborghini ST championship for 2016.

***Josh Hurley will be solo driver in the No. 76 Musante-Courtney Racing Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 this weekend, after having multiple co-drivers throughout this year.

***GMG Racing drops to a single entry for team principal James Sofronas and Jeffrey Cheng, the No. 88 Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2, with the No. 32 entry of Rob Phillips withdrawn. It leaves this weekend’s field at 25 cars.

***Mat Pombo will share the No. 42 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 with Todd Snyder at Mitchum Motorsports. Pombo will also race in this weekend’s Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge event, as will Change Racing’s Corey Lewis.
