VIR Replaces St. Pete in Revised Super Trofeo Schedule

Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America has undergone a further change to its calendar, with a return to Virginia International Raceway now confirmed.

Originally on the 2020 schedule, the 3.27-mile circuit near Danville, Vir. was removed following IMSA’s calendar shuffle last month due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

A street race in St. Petersburg, in support of the NTT IndyCar Series, was then announced to replace VIR, but has since been removed from the calendar in favor of a return to Virginia.

The 2020 season kicks off at Road America in August on the NASCAR Xfinity Series weekend.

Aug. 6-8 — Road America
Aug. 22-23 — Virginia International Raceway
Sept. 3-6 — Watkins Glen International
Oct. 30 – Nov. 1 — WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca
Nov. 13-15 — Sebring International Raceway
