McCumbee McAleer Racing has finalized its first two drivers for the inaugural Mustang Challenge series, with Jeremy Fletcher and Zach Lee set to pilot the team’s pair of Mustang Dark Horse R entries.

The North Carolina-based team is poised to field between three to four cars in the IMSA-sanctioned series, which kicks off at Mid-Ohio in June.

“Everyone at MMR has been eagerly anticipating the start of the Mustang Challenge,” said team co-owner Chad McCumbee.

“This series perfectly aligns with our team’s ethos, and our strong relationship with Ford continues to flourish with this addition.

“I am thrilled to have Zach back with MMR; we share a great history, and Jeremy has seamlessly integrated into our team, showcasing remarkable results. Mustang Challenge presents an incredible platform for both drivers to exhibit their prowess.”

McAleer added: “This marks a significant milestone for MMR. Having established ourselves as a dominant force in the IMSA Mazda MX-5 Cup, we are eager to replicate our success with the Ford program.

“With Jeremy and Zach behind the wheel, we aim to compete for victories from the outset. While our third driver is yet to be confirmed, we are prepared for the challenge ahead.”
