ACI Motorsports will expand into a seven-car program in Porsche Carrera Cup North America, adding a number of drivers to its operation for the upcoming season, which kicks off at Sebring International Raceway next week.

The Chattanooga, Tenn.-based operation confirmed Thursday that 2022 Porsche Sprint Challenge North America champion Jimmy Llibre will make the move from MDK Motorsports to ACI, competing in the Pro class.

Three drivers: Roberto Tutino, Marco Cirone, and Pedro Torres, meanwhile, will represent the team in the Pro-Am class, while Tom Balames, Richard Edge, and Matt Halcome are set to contest the newly named Masters category.

‘We’re looking forward to finally getting the 2024 season underway – never know what to expect but it looks promising for our team,” said team principal Curt Swearingin.

“We’ve grown so much and so quickly, but we’ve never been more ready to hit the track and compete for championships.

“Our goals are the same as ever – perform to our maximum potential and give every driver the best platform and chance to succeed. We’re looking forward to pushing the limits and seeing the ceiling of what we can accomplish.”
