Dickinson Leads Friday Practice at The Brickyard

Riley Dickinson was quickest in the opening day of track action at the Porsche Sports Car Together Fest at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, in the penultimate round of the Porsche Carrera Cup North America presented by The Cayman Islands season.

The Kelly-Moss driver reeled off a best lap of 1:26.091 in the morning 40-minute session to outpace MDK Motorsports’ Matty Graham by 0.063 seconds.

Graham, a late addition to the 35-car entry list, paced the afternoon session in his No. 91 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car and was quicker than teammate Trenton Estep, who was third overall on the combined time sheets.

Leh Keen and Parker Thompson completed the top-five for 311RS Motorsport and JDX Racing, respectively, followed by Pro class points leader Kay van Berlo in the No. 3 Kelly-Moss Porsche.

Curt Swearingin led the Pro-Am ranks in his No. 17 ACI Motorsports Porsche while Mark Kvamme was quickest of the Am class competitors.

Of note, Jeff Gordon, competing as an invitational entry, set the 24th quickest time in the No. 24 Hendrick Performance Group Porsche

Qualifying gets underway at 10:10 a.m. CT  tomorrow.
