Tyler Maxson claimed a sweep of the Porsche Carrera Cup North America weekend at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, in a race that saw Marco Cirone wrap up the Masters’ class championship.

Maxson claimed another flag-to-flag victory in his No. 77 Topp Racing Porsche 911 Cup car, finishing 5.020 seconds ahead of Aaron Jeansonne in the No. 24 Kellymoss Porsche.

Maxson’s win, his eighth of the season, has resulted in a further points gain who will enter the title-deciding weekend at Circuit of The Americas with a 27-point buffer over Jeansonne.

A maximum of 56 points remain up for grabs in the final two races of the season.

The No. 9 JDX Racing Porsche of Callum Hedge completed the Pro podium in third, with Janne Stiak and Jared Thomas completing the top-five in their ACI Motorsports and JTR Motorsports Engineering entries, respectively.

Patrick Mulcahy, in his sole Pro-Am class entry, finished 15th overall, behind the Masters class podium finishers.

The No. 88 ACI Porsche of Cirone finished 1.452 seconds ahead of second-placed Rob Walker in the No. 53 JTR Motorsports Engineering entry.

Scott Blind, in the No. 45 Ruckus Racing Porsche, completed the class podium after surviving an off-course excursion.

RESULTS: Race 2
