Porsche Carrera Cup North America presented by The Cayman Islands Pro class points leader Seb Priaulx topped the time charts in both practice sessions Friday at Virginia International Raceway.

The Kelly-Moss Road & Race driver reeled off a 1:46.407 lap time in the morning’s 30-minute to go quickest in the session.

Priaulx’s time from the morning was quicker than his afternoon pace-setting 1:46.770 set in the No. 15 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.

He was 0.079 seconds quicker than Riley Dickinson in the No. 53 Team Hardpoint Porsche entry followed by Kelly-Moss’ Kay van Berlo in third.

The three quickest times were set in the morning.

Max Root’s 1:46.905 lap time in the No. 7 Moorespeed-Wright Motorsports Porsche was good enough for fourth on the day, with Leh Keen completing the top-five.

Pro-Am was led by the No. 99 Kelly-Moss entry of Alan Metni, who recorded the seventh quickest time overall while Pro-Am 911 saw Matt Halcome top the time charts.

Qualifying is scheduled to get underway Saturday at 8 a.m. ET followed by the first race of the weekend at 3:30 p.m. with live coverage on PorscheCarreraCup.us and IMSA.tv.
