Kay van Berlo completed a clean sweep of the Porsche Carrera Cup North America presented by The Cayman Islands weekend at Watkins Glen International, with the Dutchman taking another commanding win in Race 2.

Van Berlo drove his No. 3 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car to a 4.917-second win over teammate Riley Dickinson in Saturday’s 40-minute contest.

Having started from pole courtesy of setting the fastest lap in Race 1, van Berlo stretched into an early lead and controlled the remainder of the race.

It marked his sixth victory out of eight races this season and extends his points lead heading into next month’s rounds on the streets of Toronto.

Trenton Estep completed the podium in the No. 6 MDK Motorsports Porsche followed by the No. 9 JDX Racing entry of Parker Thompson, who swapped positions from Friday’s race.

The No. 12 311RS Motorsport Porsche of Leh Keen completed the top-five, followed by TJ Fisher, Sean Varwig and Varun Choksey.

Efrin Castro came out on top in Pro-Am after a late-race off-course excursion for Alan Metni at the Bus Stop Chicane.

Castro, who was hunting down his Kelly-Moss teammate in the closing stages, crossed the line 1.857 seconds ahead of Race 1 winner Metni, who recovered to finish second in class.

Am class honors went to the No. 42 Topp Racing Porsche of Bill Smith, meanwhile.

The race’s only full course caution came for contact between the No. 30 Goldcrest Motorsports Porsche of Dominique Lequeux and the No. 92 Kelly-Moss entry driven by Joseph Lombardo on the entry into Turn 1.

Lequeux, who retired from the race with damage, was handed incident responsibility from IMSA race control.

RESULTS: Race 2
