A total of eight entries are set to take part in this weekend’s Three Hours of Shanghai, the third round of the Asian Le Mans Series.

The ACO-blessed sports car championship sees the addition of a Clearwater Racing Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 for the Chinese round, which will be driven by Matt Griffin, Keita Sawa and Mok Weng Seng.

ENTRY LIST: Three Hours of Shanghai

The Malaysian-based effort made its series debut in last year’s season-ending round at Sepang.

Clearwater joins the three Team AAI cars in the GT class.

The Taiwanese AAI squad goes back to being a two-car BMW effort, with the addition of BMW factory driver Joerg Mueller joining Marco Seefried and Hanchen Chen in the No. 92 entry.

Other changes in the entry list includes Naoki Yokomizo joining Samson Chan and Kevin Tse in the Craft-Bamboo Racing Ligier JS 53 Evo, while Guglielmo Belotti makes his series debut alongside Denis Lian in the Team Avelon Formula Wolf GB08.

The LMP2 class again sees a two-horse race with David Cheng and Ho-Pin Tung seeking their third win of the season.

They’ll battle the Eurasia Motorsport Oreca 03 Nissan, which sees James Winslow sub for Richard Bradley, who is on FIA WEC duty this weekend in Fuji.

Free practice gets underway on Thursday, with qualifying on tap for Friday. The race takes the green on Saturday at 3 p.m. local time.
