American Bronze-rated driver Dustin Blattner will switch from Porsche to Ferrari machinery, aligning himself with Kessel Racing to form part of the Swiss squad’s two-car Asian Le Mans Series effort.

Blatter and Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS co-driver Dennis Marschall will pilot the No. 74 Ferrari 296 GT3 for the six-round series, driving alongside Ben Tuck.

The move to Kessel marks a departure from Porsche for Blattner, as the 38-year-old has raced with the German brand ever since he made his GT3 debut last year.

The sister No. 57 Ferrari, meanwhile, will largely feature the same lineup that came close to winning the European Le Mans Series LMGT3 title last month.

Esteban Masson and Daniel Serra are set to once again share driver duties for the full campaign, but regular Bronze-rated driver Takeshi Kimura will miss the opening double header at Sepang International Circuit due to personal reasons.

Yudai Uchida, who has competed in SUPER GT’s GT300 class as well as in Fanatec GT Asia, will replace him in Malaysia before Kimura returns for the final stretch of races in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
