The 4 Hours of Barcelona has been red-flagged after a six-car pile-up at the start of the race.

The No. 9 Proton Competition Oreca 07 Gibson of Jonas Reid spun in Turn 2 after making contact with the No. 10 Vector Sport car driven by Ryan Cullen. The incident is currently under review.

Ried collided with both the No. 47 CLX Motorsport LMP2 Pro-Am entry of Georgios Kolovos and the No. 27 Nielsen Racing car of Kriton Lentoudis.

Meanwhile, a similar incident occurred in LMP3 as the No. 4 DKR Engineering Ligier JS P325 Toyota of Antti Rammo spun coming into the first corner.

The DKR Ligier then crashed into both the No. 17 CLX Motorsport car of Paul Lanchere and the No. 68 M Racing entry of Nick Adcock.

All six of the cars involved have not rejoined the race.

The cars have been stopped on the start finish straight with the estimated restart time of 12:30 CET (6:30 ET).
