Sarah Bovy will team with Celia Martin and Michelle Gatting to form Iron Dames’ lineup in the European Le Mans Series.

Bovy, a two-time class winner in the series, will pilot the No. 85 Porsche 911 GT3 R alongside Martin and Gatting for the six-round series, which starts in Barcelona on April 6.

The confirmation follows not long after the news that the Belgian will go absent from Iron Dames’ FIA World Endurance Championship lineup next year.

The 35-year-old will embark on her first season as a Silver-rated driver, her slot as the mandatory Bronze taken by Martin, describing the upgrade as something she ‘welcomes as a challenge.’

The No. 85 Porsche will be operated by the Christian Ried-led Proton Competition squad, continuing a relationship that started this past season.
