French racing team Ultimate has revealed the driver lineup and livery for its Oreca 07 Gibson ahead of its move to the top class of the European Le Mans Series.

The experienced LMP3 outfit, which has contested the last four ELMS campaigns in the secondary prototype category, will focus its efforts on LMP2 this year.

Endurance-info reports that Ultimate’s familiar LMP3 lineup of Francois Heriau, Jean-Baptiste Lahaye and Matthieu Lahaye will co-drive the Oreca in the six-round season.

The team joined the ACO prototype ranks in 2016 with a Ligier JS P3 Nissan, which it campaigned for two years before switching to a Norma M30 Nissan at the start of 2018.

Heriau and the Lahaye brothers claimed their first ELMS victory together in last year’s 4 Hours of Le Castellet, which contributed too them finishing third in the 2019 standings.

The trio also drove a previous-gen Ligier LMP2 car in the 2018-19 Asian Le Mans Series.

Ultimate’s graduation to the top division forms part of the team’s wider goal to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans next year.

It has been preparing for the start of its new program at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, where it is currently conducting a two-day test with the Oreca.

Further private testing will take place at Paul Ricard next week ahead of the opening round of the season, which is scheduled to take place at Barcelona on Apr. 5.
