Onroak Automotive has confirmed the second customer of its new Ligier JS P3, with Extreme Limite set to run the LMP3 car in the European Le Mans Series next year.

The French squad, led by Patrice Roussel, has been in European competition since 2005, mot recently having taken part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2011-2012.

Extreme Limit joins Graff Racing as confirmed customers of the new car, which will make its race debut later this summer.

“The Ligier JS P3 was presented a few days ago and it already seems to be very much appreciated and is attracting a lot of interest on the part of drivers and teams,” said Onroak Automotive President Jacques Nicolet.

“I think that our Ligier JS P3, and the LMP3 category in general, have a sure place in the world of endurance and meet a very important demand, especially on the part of gentlemen drivers. Its links to the Ligier JS P2 gives it immediate credibility.”

An extensive development program with the car will begin on Friday with Nissan LMP1 factory driver and longtime Onroak driver Olivier Pla.
