JMW Confirms ELMS Driver Lineup

JMW Motorsport has announced its driver lineup for the European Le Mans Series season, which will see George Richardson, Sam Tordoff and Robert Smith pilot the team’s GTE class Ferrari F458 Italia.

Richardson, who returns to the Jim McWhirter-owned organization for the second year, will be joined by two newcomers in touring car ace Tordoff and Smith, who is coming off a class podium finish in the Bathurst 12 Hour.

“I couldn’t be more proud to have driven for JMW in 2014 and now I get to do it all over again in 2015,” Richardson said. “I am delighted to be back with Jim and the team and I am raring to go. We are championship contenders.”

Both Smith and Tordoff joined the team at the end of 2014 for a test at Estoril, with all three drivers expected to be on hand for the ELMS pre-season test at Paul Ricard next month.

The driver lineup for the team’s confirmed 24 Hours of Le Mans entry has yet to be announced.
