DragonSpeed driver Nicolas Lapierre was fastest in Saturday morning’s Free Practice 2 for the European Le Mans Series Four Hours of Monza.

The Frenchman logged a best lap time of 1:37.258 in the 90-minute session, keeping a DragonSpeed-run car at the top of the time sheets.

Ryo Hirakawa topped yesterday’s opening session in the G-Drive Racing-backed DragonSpeed entry, meanwhile.

Enzo Guibbert was the second-quickest driver in FP2, as the No. 39 Graff car went 0.378 seconds down on Lapierre’s similar Oreca 07 Gibson.

United Autosports completed the top three with its Ligier JS P217 Gibson piloted by Filipe Albuquerque, meanwhile, while the Dallara P217 Gibson’s run of good form continued with the Cetilar Villorba Corse car in fourth.

M.Racing – YMR came out fastest in LMP3, although with eight cars within one second, it was a close affair.

Both Norma M30 Nissans were classified in the top five, with Dario Capitiano third for Oregon Team.

Fernando Rees went one better than yesterday’s session with a GTE class-leading time in the Larbre Competition Corvette C7.R.

Nick Thiim was second in class, less than one tenth down in his TF Sport Aston Martin Vantage GTE.

Qualifying for tomorrow’s race will take place at 1:15 p.m. local time.
