Matthieu Vaxiviere will join Panis Barthez Competition in next month’s Four Hours of Monza, while Nathanael Berthon focuses on the Blancpain GT Series round at Silverstone.
Vaxiviere joins Fabien Barthez and Timothe Buret in the team’s Ligier JS P217 Gibson for the second European Le Mans Series round of the season.
He replaces full-season driver Berthon who will instead be at Silverstone for the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup, racing with Belgian Audi Club Team WRT.
Vaxiviere came third in class at the FIA World Endurance Championship Six Hours of Silverstone earlier this month, in TDS Racing’s Oreca 07 Gibson.
“I am really happy to do this event with this team which proved from its creation last year that its project was an ambitious and solid one,” commented Vaxiviere.
“I will endeavor to apply myself to bring my own experience in LMP2 to the team and to work [together strongly] in order to give us [the best chance at] Monza.”
