Jota Sport announced Wednesday that Nick Yelloly will complete the team’s lineup in the European Le Mans Series this season.
The 24-year-old open-wheel rising star will join Simon Dolan and Audi factory driver Filipe Albuquerque in the five round championship, which kicks off at Silverstone next month.
“I’ve never raced a sports car and tested one for the very first time early in February, so 2015 will be a completely new experience for me and one that I’m eagerly looking forward to,” Yelloly said.
Yelloly enters LMP2 competition as a multiple-time GP3 and Formula Renault 3.5 race winner.
He will also join Dolan for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with the team’s third driver in the Gibson 015S Nissan still to be announced.
