Two entry requests were submitted to the ACO, but at present, only one has been accepted, with the No. 67 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR of nominated driver Erik Maris being joined by Jean-Marc Merlin and Eric Helary in the confirmed entry.

Maris is no stranger to endurance racing, having contested the FIA WEC round at COTA with OAK Racing and also this year’s 24 Hours of Dubai with Spirit of Race.

Merlin also joins IMSA Performance after competing with OAK, in the 24 Hours of Le Mans last year.

Helary, who won Le Mans overall in 1993, driving a Peugeot 905, comes out of retirement to drive for with the Rouen-based team. He has not been back to La Sarthe since 2006.

IMSA Performance has entered both of its Porsches for the European Le Mans Series, while also running a Porsche 911 GT3 R in the French GT Championship for Raymond Narac and Nicolas Armindo.

The team will not return to the FIA World Endurance Championship.
