Work on the public-road portion of Circuit de la Sarthe between Mulsanne Corner and Porsche Curves is underway.
Among the improvements to be made include the addition of pavement to the edges of the circuit through these sections. Grass is to be replaced by concrete.
A new gravel trap, meanwhile, will be added at Corvette Corner, while construction of the Porsche Experience Center is also underway, which is planned to open in the first half of next year.
All of the circuit updates are expected to be in place for the 24 Hours of Le Mans next year.
