Car Guy Racing has finalized its driver lineup for the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the addition of 2016 Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup champion Come Ledogar.
The 27-year-old Frenchman will share the Japanese team’s Ferrari 488 GTE with Kei Cozzolino and Takeshi Kimura, who were included on the 62-car entry list released earlier this week.
Ledogar is set for his first Le Mans appearance in GT machinery after making his debut in the French endurance classic behind the wheel of a Jackie Chan DC Racing-entered Ligier JS P217 Gibson last year.
He currently drives for Aston Martin outfit Garage 59 in the Blancpain Endurance Cup and also competed in the Asian Le Mans Series last season in LMP2.
Car Guy Racing won the 2018-19 Asian LMS GTE title with Cozzolino, Kimura and Britain’s James Calado, however the reigning FIA World Endurance champion is contesting Le Mans with the Italian manufacturer’s works GTE-Pro team.
Endurance-info reports that Car Guy plans to return for a sophomore season in Asia despite rumors of a potential graduation to the WEC GTE-Am ranks.
