Mueller Completes Second Inter Europol LMP2 Lineup

Porsche factory driver Nico Mueller will complete Inter Europol Competition’s second lineup for this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, it has been announced.

The Swiss Formula E regular will join the team’s European Le Mans Series drivers Bijoy Garg and Reshad de Gerus for the FIA World Endurance Championship blue riband at the wheel of the No. 343 Oreca 07 Gibson.

It will mark Mueller’s first Le Mans outing in the LMP2 class since his debut appearance for the Vector Sport team in 2022.

Since then, he has contested the French classic in Hypercar twice as part of the Peugeot squad, scoring a best overall finish of 12th in 2024, while he also served as Porsche Penske Motorsport’s reserve driver last year.

“I’m super excited to be joining Inter Europol Competition alongside Bijoy and Reshad for what is the biggest race of the year,” said Mueller. “The 24 Hours of Le Mans is always very high on every driver’s list, and it’s great to be heading back there.

“Having competed at Le Mans in both Hypercar and LMP2 before, I’m excited to fight for the win in LMP2 with my teammates. It’s also fantastic to be working with such a successful team at Le Mans, and I’m ready to give it everything.”

Team principal Sascha Fassbender added: “I’m very happy to confirm Nico as our third driver for Le Mans. With our full-season line-up of Bijoy and Reshad, we have already shown that they are a strong duo.

“Adding Nico for Le Mans gives us a very strong line-up and the possibility to have two competitive cars, both able to fight for the win. I’m really looking forward to it.”

Inter Europol’s No. 43 car will be driven by last year’s LMP2 class-winning crew, comprising Tom Dillmann, Nick Yelloly and Jakub Smiechowski.
