Akkodis ASP has announced Arnold Robin will stay with the team for the upcoming FIA World Endurance Championship season, while also signing Razvan Umbrarescu as its second Bronze-rated driver for the new campaign.

The French outfit is heading into its second season running a pair of Lexus RC F GT3s, having already announced Ben Barnicoat and Jose Maria Lopez as its two full-season Pro drivers for its two LMGT3 crews last November.

Robin will join Barnicoat aboard the No. 78 car, having raced together with Kelvin van der Linde and a variety of Silver-rated teammates in 2024.

Romanian driver Umbrarescu meanwhile joins Lopez in the sister No. 87 entry, effectively replacing Takeshi Kimura as the car’s designated Bronze.

Umbrarescu took part in the post-season rookie test in Bahrain with Akkodis ASP and is well known to the Jerome Policand-led team, having been part of its GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup efforts in 2021-22.

He then switched to the ADAC GT Masters series in 2023 with Haupt Racing Team, and made two outings in the GT Europe Sprint Cup for Comtoyou Racing last year.

Akkodis ASP has yet to announce its Silver drivers for the new WEC season, although Aurelien Panis was another driver to test for the squad last year in Bahrain.
