Michelotto continued its pre-season testing last week in Abu Dhabi, in preparation for the start of the FIA World Endurance Championship.
Ferrari factory drivers Gianmaria Bruni and Toni Vilander participated in a test at the Yas Marina Circuit with a 2014-spec 458 Italia GT. The new car understood to feature only minimal updates due to the current freeze on GTE regulations.
Bruni and Vilander are expected to be among the drivers in AF Corse’s planned two-car effort in the FIA WEC, as the Italian squad and Ferrari look to defend the drivers, teams and manufacturer’s titles in the globe-trotting championship.
The season kicks off at Silverstone in April but official pre-season testing, which is mandatory for at least one car per team, is set for March 28-29 at Paul Ricard.
