Toyota Gazoo Racing has returned to the top of the time sheets, with Sebastien Buemi recording the quickest time of the weekend in Free Practice 3 at Fuji Speedway.

The Swiss driver reeled off a 1:35.414 lap in the No. 8 Toyota TS050 Hybrid, more than one-tenth quicker than Andre Lotterer’s pace-setting time from Friday.

All three sessions have been run in wet conditions, with WEC officials having decided to move up qualifying this afternoon by 30 minutes due to heavy rains forecasted later in the day.

The No. 37 Jackie Chan DC Racing Oreca 07 Gibson of Alex Brundle topped LMP2 in the 60-minute session, with the pair of Porsche 911 RSRs leading the way in GTE-Pro and the No. 77 Dempsey Proton Racing Porsche pacing GTE-Am.

Qualifying is not scheduled to get underway at 2 p.m. local time.

RESULTS: Free Practice 3
