Anthony Davidson and Alexandre Coigny have both withdrawn from the 4 Hours of Silverstone with injuries, leaving their respective LMP2 teams to run two-driver lineups.

Davidson was set to drive for Jota alongside Antonio Felix da Costa and Roberto Gonzalez but has decided to pull out of the race due to excessive pain from a rib injury sustained before the weekend.

He took part in Free Practice but took the decision to withdraw from this afternoon’s race.

Coigny, meanwhile, was involved in a heavy crash at Brooklands during Saturday afternoon’s European Le Mans Series race, forcing him to miss this afternoon’s contest too.

He was set to drive Cool Racing’s Oreca 07 Gibson along with Nico Lapierre and Antonin Borga, who will now also drive as a duo.

Racing Team Nederland is on LMP2 class pole for this afternoon’s race, with Cool and Jota set to start fourth and seventh, respectively.

The race will get underway at 12 p.m. local time (7 a.m. EDT).
